The SmashKids class is for young aspiring singers, approximately ages 6-13. NO experience necessary.

What to expect:

To learn the fundamentals of singing in a fun, non-competitive group setting

To learn vocal exercises and warm-ups that strengthen vocal technique
-
An introduction to music theory
-
To apply learned vocal techniques to fun, family-friendly contemporary songs
-
To build confidence and learn microphone technique through solo projects and solo work
-
To explore the art of performance with stage presence and movement training

SmashKids classes will learn a short program to perform as a combined group, similar to a large format children's choir. All singers will have an opportunity to be featured in a solo part in the SmashKids program that will be performed in the showcase/recital at the end of the season.
